Waistbeads are an ancient African tradition tied on reaffirming your self love, crowning your femininity & tracking your waist. This practice is available to all as an expression of cultural appreciation as we teach the history and tradition of this practice.
At Pure Heart Wellness Studio , you’ll find a wide selection to choose from to fit your journey. Once you’ve selected your beads we can tie them on the spot. For a more intentional experience, book a tying ceremony & select your beads once you arrive or choose to have custom strands created.
Your waistbead tying ceremony is your appointment to have your beads created and/or simply tied on. We teach you the history of waistbeads, discuss the crystals used and how they serve as beautiful reminders of GODS promises. We then begin to tie them on and during that process you are able to set your intentions / say a prayer of intent for each strand. We also offer anklets in addition to your waistbeads or for those that prefer not to wear waistbeads. The strand is then sealed with a prayer, affirmation or meditation for you as well. It’s a moment for you to just unfold, refocus & honor your worth right where you are.
